to join our free-troops of radars

That's probably because there are not too many flights at 1am in the morning! Try around 8pm UK time.

There is one sharer in Auckland who has coverage out to about 200nm and myself in the lower North Island with coverage out to 150nm in some directions.

                      As Mike asks, what's "illegal"?

Normally its forbidden to feed data from planeplotter to other commercial site
but It could very well be that Planefinder have got a special agreement
                        as I stated in previous , " I am not shure "

I rest my CASE, and re-write the Illegal thing

PP is fed by data from many ModeS receivers. If one is viewing shared data on PP, I don't think it's possible to upload PP data from other ModeS receivers to another commercial site.

If a ModeS receiver is sharing data with PP it can also feed data to another server. There is nothing "illegal" in sharing one's own data.

                            Planefinder

                            Hi
                            What puzzled my mind was this instructions ;
Taken from planefinder under Share Data

                            Instructions
If you don't already use it download the latest version of COAA's Plane Plotter software from here
(Please note that we have been working with COAA and the latest version simplifies the sharing process).
We suggest you use the free trial first to make sure you are happy with the results.
It's very simple but if you do get stuck there is an excellent FAQ site here or alternatively please contact us.
Once it's set up go to Options-->Sharing-->Setup and fill in as per the image below.

Please note that we do not use data shared via the internet sharing facility built into Plane Plotter software as this is against the terms of the license agreement and also would not be fair on those sharing the data just for use within the Plane Plotter community.

I think that is saying that Planefinder isn't using data from other PP users.
