GNS 5890 quit working

My GNS 5890 has worked fine for a month. Suddenly today, it stopped working. The computer does not recognize the USB device. Removing and reinserting the card did not help. Rebooting the machine did not help. It won't let me reinstall a driver because it says a driver is not required. Has anyone else seen this or does anyone have an idea how to fix it?
