  • Is Raspberry Pi 2B powerful?

    Hi,

I've just installed pi24 on Raspberry Pi 2B. I'm using FlightAware Pro Stick Plus (that blue one) and 1090 filter. I'm able to track about 20 aircraft at once with antenna placed indoors behind window (just for now). CPU utilization of single core won't exceed 40 % (one core between 20 and 40 %, one core between 15 and 30 %, two other cores 0 to 10 %).
I'm going to place antenna in some more suitable position and with this setup I should be able to track about 100 aircraft at once.

I'm asuming more tracked aircraft means higher CPU requirements. Is Pi 2B powerful enough?

    Thank you.
