    Hi Richard.

We have recently started increasing coverage in the USA and we will add more airports to the Map, but they will only be larger airports as there would be to much load on the server and it would make the Apps and Web pages run a bit slower.

We could never put all the airports that the FAA flights show as there are to many.

Very impressive now that FAA data is now displayed across the North American continent. Interesting to note that only European based flights appear to show tail number and airframe type. Not shown on US or Canadian aircraft. Curious! A little confusing with both Orange (FAA) and Yellow (Radarbox?) aircraft depicted in same airspace! Airports we can live without, if one uses map data, rather than greyscale mapping!

The catch with FAA one is, if the aircraft has been under FR24 uploader cover (IE part of europe enroute to the US) and the details already looked up from the start of the journey, when it gets to the US airspace where there is only FAA cover it is often able to add 2+2 and come to conclusion it is the same flight, so fill in some of the blank details it captured earlier.

Whereas AC that have nothing BUT faa cover, this info is not able to be looked up from a previous part of the leg.

You can read more about the FAA data in the FAA thread
I plead ignorance! What is FAA Traffic as per the new setting today?

The delayed FAA data can be turned off in options if someone finds it annoying.

Just as Speedbird wrote, we cannot show every airport in USA, as would be hundreds of dot's all over USA. So we are only showing major airports and airports with ADS-B traffic (every extra dot slows down the map and increases data transfer rates).
