  • Associating device with an account

    Hello Friends,

    Yesterday I set up a raspberry PI and associated antenna and brought it online. I am doing it on behalf of a friend.

    He logged into his Flight Radar account and activated the new receiver. Initially all looked good.

    We then went to the profile screen to see if he is receiving data but then we noticed a message to say that this account was set up with the Apple App store, it looks sort of 'locked'.

    We decided the best plan would be to create a new account with a different email, which we did.

    However, at that point, we could not activate the new device, it appears to me it is associated with the original / initial account and already activated.

    The problem is it may be activated on the old account and we cannot see the data because it was initially purchased through Apple and they seem to have it locked to a silver subscription.

    tl;dr
    how can I change the flightradar account the device is associated with from an old account to a new account.
