  • Move from a raspi 4 to a raspi 3

    Hello dear flightradar fellows,

I've succesfully installed flightradar24 feeder by means of the raspi image onto a raspi4.
I received radar ID and sharing key.
So far so good. Today I remembered that I already use a raspi 3 as a print server for Octoprint.
So my idea is now to save my pi 4 for another project and move the feeder software to the raspi 3.

I'm no linux specialist so maybe someone can explain me if and how this can be achieved?

    Thanks

    Greetings from Germany
    Markus

normally you should be able to swap over the SD card with the image on it in order to get it running on a raspi 3.Both the FR24 image and the raspi 3 image are 32 bit.

      Thank you for your answer!
But that's not exactly what I want. On the Raspi 3 there is already a server running (Octoprint)
      This should not be touched.
I just want to run the feeder service of Flightradar24 in addition to octoprint.
Therefore I need to install Flightradar24 on the existing SDCard of the pi3 and I want to reuse my radar ID and the sharing key.

Run this on the Pi 3 https://www.flightradar24.com/share-your-data
Then when asked input your already existing sharing key and you're done. reusing the sharing key will get you the same radar-id
