  • Feeder offline but connected to internet

    Hello everyone,
I feed to FR24 through my FA flightfeeder. Flightfeeder works great without any problem but my FR24 pi goes offline if i restart my router or for some reason flightfeeder is restarted due to power fluctuations. Even if i just remove ethernet and plug it back it permanently goes offline.

The problem is, it permanently goes offline. I can access it through putty ssh. So everytime i have to setup FR24 again by "sudo bash -c "$(wget -O - https://repo-feed.flightradar24.com/install_fr24_rpi.sh)"" command.

After that it can run for days without any problem but as soon as router is restarted, it permanently goes offline and i have to set it up again. I have tried both wifi and ethernet.

    Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

    Setting up again it's unnecessary.

It will just need a restart. Which is part of what the installer does

    Probably related to this

Need to make yourself familiar with the logs, state and status page to see the cause

It doesn't come online even after restarting it. Tried it many times. Pi will get connected to the internet but not to FR24, it always show offline.

My FR24 has been going off line as well. Restarting the Pi used to bring it back up. That does not work any longer. In order to get FR24 feed back it seems that I need to ssh into the Pi and do sudo fr24feed Then the FR24 feed kicks off and runs until the next situation that causes it to stop and or go offline. Since I am not literate with the intimate workings of the hardware and Linux as of yet I am not sure what that does. However I have been chasing this issue for a couple months in my spare time. Just when I think I may have narrowed things down to something that I think is the root cause the behavior may change slightly. It may have something to do with router or DHCP or internet or routing from me to 185.218.24.22 or, or, or, or......
