Can you update the following two:

5V-TTV (Asky) still uses its old hex 43EECA and is therefore wrongly depcited 2-ASKY
No, this is not possible. There has not been any policy change and in fact the official rule is that miscodes are not permitted at all, so all fields for the miscoded Asky should be completely blank. However due to the sheer number of miscodes now, some editors have been adding a note stating "miscoded transponders" followed by the correct reg if known, simply as a kind gesture for the site users to tell them what the true reg is. Most of them you'll see like this are in South America, but you'll spot some in the African continent and other areas.

Note that this practice may be short-lived as top management stated some time ago that they did not want miscodes to feature in any capacity, so at some point you shpuld expect the map to revert to a sea of 737 icons with no info when they are all deleted.

Wow, that's two steps back!! of course a plane should carry the correct code. However, as a user of the FR24 app I care about seeing the up-to-date and correct plane registration and picture. I don't mind whether the hex is correct or not. Your 'top' managers are purists and not pragmatic. Missed opportunity

Did you submit an update request to the site for the database editors to make the change, or do you think we sit here all day checking the million airframes in the databases 1 by 1 to see if they've changed operator? I have just done a search for the hex in these forums, and your quoted post is the first mention of it. Also "Sander in West-Africa" lists the frame himself (incorrectly, I might add) as Ethiopian Airlines when it was operating for Asky Airlines on the date in question, arriving from Monrovia as SKK021. https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10579368
