Thanks for adding F-JTJY this week! Unfortunately, I flew this aircraft today around position 43.592395, -0.128408 and the flight did not appear, nor is it listed in history.
Is there something I can do? Or are we missing antennas in this area? or does just your database need some time to track new aircrafts?

Is your transponder 1090 or 1090ES? If it's the former then you'll only be MLAT trackable. MLAT + low level = not a good combination for track plots and unless the area is well populated with feeders then your flight won't show. Your hex and reg combo is working OK as I can see ping logs of them from November last year.

          Dear FR24 Team,

Pls update Aircraft below at FR24 database:

          ModeS/HEX CODE: 4956C1
          Registration: CS-UVA
          ICAO Type code – P208
          Type: BRM Citius Sport (ULAC)
          MSN: 0291
          Owner/operator: Private

I am requesting the insertion on behalf of the owner/pilot of the aircraft (my close friend).

          Tks for your support,
          Jose

Thanks for the rapid reply. Is there a way to get a maps of the locations (even with degraded accuracy for privacy purposes) of the antennas (custom / sponsored) that are connected?

Wrong type code. Not even close !

              P208 : https://www.jetphotos.com/aircraft/Tecnam%20P2008
              CS-UVA : https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/keyword/CS-UVA

The BRM Citius Sport doesn't have a type code. Goes under the generic ULAC class.

Not that I'm aware of. The short version of the above is that FR24 decided to block MLAT (multilateration) feeds around a year ago for reasons they won't say. The result of this is low level older GA and rotary types no longer show on the map, generally speaking. Transponders with extended squitter (1090ES) ping GPS position and height and so don't rely on MLAT feeders, just a feeder vaguely in the area to 'hear' your ping which contains your GPS position which can then be plotted and tracked on the map. A large number of the ultra-lights are not 1090ES equipped so you'll struggle to see them plot on the map, if at all.

This bird was heavily tracked earlier in the afternoon - it's a BAC Strikemaster out for an airshow in Auckland. The Strikemaster has a personalised callsign registered with our CAA, which was probably why it caught so much attention.

                        Hello,

Correct, indeed it does not have a type code. Thanks for inserting in FR24 DB as generic ULAC.

                        Thank you, best regards,
                        Jose

Seems the database formatting for this drone is a little off. I found the registration for this drone in the type field for some reason.

Yes. It is miscoded and so we can't put a South Africa reg on that hex. It is the DSV warehouse security drone and just flies loops around the site. The hex is not conflicting with anything so I will speak to the higher-ups and see if the reg can be put in the correct place.
