With the disappointing news of continental pulling out of Bristol now behind the airports governing body, it now seems that a deal has been made with Brussels Airlines. As a result of a codeshare agreement between Continental Airlines and Brussels Airlines, passengers can now travel to Newark from Bristol via brussels. This means passengers will in fact have to fly the opposite direction to connect with Newark.
My question is, well at the moment Brussels Airlines operate a BAE Systems Avro 146-RJ85 out of Bristol to Brussels. With all the passengers who will want to connect to Newark via Brussels from Bristol surely they will need to increase capacity, if they do so what aircraft are we likely to see being operated by Brussel Airlines in and out of bristol?
