RADAR VIEW - LOCAL TRAFFIC

In radar view I add my localhost IP and can then see my local traffic in default red.

Why is there other traffic in my vicinity at similar altitudes but that do no show up in local traffic red. Rather they appear in the normal default colors for ascending, cruising or descending aircraft.

Those are AC being tracked by other receivers.

Thanks very much for your help. If I understand then, the AC which show up as my local traffic would not be visible without my receiver in operation.
