I have been tracking plane BAW11 which says to it going from London Heathrow to San Francisco and clicking route shows it would go to the east a little way then over the UK, Scotland ,Greenland etc
it is now going east and crossing from Poland to Belarus at the moment a check on google shows it is probably the service to Singapore not San Francisco.

At this time of year many companies switch to winter (northern hemisphere) schedule.
In that period they switch flight numbers as well, so errors are possible untill everything sorts out.

Also, rutes are possible to have errors for many other reasons.

BA11 and BA31 is used to flights to Asia and North America on the same day.
