What setting do you use on VRS for the FR24 feed?

It's normal. The messages are corrupted due to noise, distance and interference. The receivers do a pretty good job extracting meaningful data out of very low powered signals, but they can't decipher everything.

I'll check (and screen shot it) my set-up when I get a chance but I've very rarely had any bad messages.

            Edit:

            I do everything via RAW.

              examples of interferences?

Interference is anything that distorts the signal. It could be from nearby transmitters on nearby frequencies breaking through inadequate filters. If the signal is distorted by interference or noise then the decoder can't produce a correctly formatted message - hence we get bad messages. Think of it like the pixellated images we get on TV when the signal is compromised.

If you want to use RAW, you need to use Format: AVR or Beast RAW Feed (any other format will not work) and change the port number to 30334 (which is the RAW data port on the FR24 box). VRS will do the processing, keep the BaseStation receiver profile (leave it enabled as well) and create a new one and call it "FR24 (RAW)".

See what one (BS or RAW) gives you the best results.
