My point was more of "Is my data being rejected for some reason?". Everyone likes the idea of participation however it doesn't bother me that much. I enjoy Radarview and the luxury of no ads and the stat page.

Just randomize ADS-B data (Radar field only) with one line of code.

SELECT * FROM `Radar` ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 1.

T-s and F-s treated equally, Everybody sees their callsign the same # of times, no mutiny, everybody's happy.

    This would satisfy me.

Check your rank from FR24 feeder stats at https://jollain.com/FR24/stats.php

Fire up VirtualRadar Server configure it with some good basestation data or even setup the auto feed with ActiveDisplayLite. Then you can always see your radar, run reports, change the colors, or whatever. You will then know your data is going into the mix to help the data. It's also all about data validation. The more feeders the better and it keeps the garbage data out.

I run VRS, however I am new to this and don't know much about the base station stuff or even what it is exactly.

If I understand it correctly, the GPS is for time syncing the data for MLAT. If your RasPi is syncing to the stratum 1, GPS locked NTP server sitting beside it (like mine is), I would have thought that would be accurate enough to use for MLAT??

Will be Better if Fr24 lists All stations tracking the flight.

Nah. A waste of bandwidth used for better things. It's all about the front-end. As a new feeder it's a novelty to see your call-sign, after a short while it's time to move on to other things.

Trying to find how many feeders FR24 needs before it accept a flight...

Me and a friend has set up 2 new feeds from Western Norway, Floroe
    approx N61.6036 E 5.0721 .

Because of the Norwegian fjords, I see mostly west and north, and he sees south (from west to east).
Periodically we both get the same airplanes on screen ( VirtualRadar).

But in the same time I see that local flights do not appear on the FR24 until its long gone from here, and ar getting under some MLAT recievers...
( We are running the fr24feed.exe and the rtl2838 dongles... )

We might follow the local plane from sight to out of eye-reach and more on our virtualradar, but it does not appear on FR24 ... until it apperars with an MLAT-reciever ...

On FR 24 the statistics show that the flights are recorded...

Do we need to get more feeders to rise locally before it will show up, or is there somehting else thats the case ?

    Regards Asbjorn.
