  • Contrail photography equipment

    I'd like to know what equipment you contrail photographers are using. Right now I'm using a Lumix FZ-72 but I'm planning to buy a Dobsonian telescope 8" or 10" (I'm an amateur astronomer also ). Other suggestions ?

    If you peruse the 'Aircraft Contrails' thread you'll find some of the guys list their equipment at the bottom of their posts. For example;

    Turkish Airlines (flight TK12) - New York (JFK) to Istanbul - reg no: TC-JDK - at 460knots/37000ft above north Anglesey, Wales on 30/9/11 (data from flightradar24):
