  • Strangers on the deck

    During WW2, either by carriage to the Theater of Operations or conducting tests for naval versions, often was possible to have the unusual sight of land-based fighters operating on aircraft carriers.     Nice work mate and thanks. I am old enough to remember life when it was black and white , although not the war itself. Some top 'old' aircraft and ships there. Sometimes I think it's a pity that we need them but I guess that's the way of it.
