Hi all
I've done a bit of digging through playback this morning. I've found that FR24 tracked the balloon of Alan Eustace as it took him to the jump altitude - jump reported on here http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/25/sc...cord.html?_r=3
The location and time is correct, and the altitude is far higher than any aircraft or even bizjets, of course excluding U-2s etc. The reg tracks back to a balloon owned by Paragon Space Development, which is the company which made the jump possible - source: http://www.regosearch.com/aircraft/us/508LJ
Well, that's enough talking, here's the screenshot:-
And here's a link to the playback:- http://www.flightradar24.com/2014-10...N508LJ/4a61642
Thanks for looking, hope this is of interest
