  • flightradar map backend

    Hi,
flightradar24 is a great project. On top of it I found that the maps flightradar24 is using are very nicely "styled". In ICAO map of Slovakia (2014) it's kind of hard (i.e. it's not that obvious if you glance at the map) to distinguish mountains, their heights, etc. Google maps itself are not as perfect as maps used in flightradar24. Is there some kind of custom styling applied to these maps here?

My intentions are to divide the region I'm flying in into A5 minimaps and print it. I'll use them in addition to the ICAO map on board.

Ok, so I found out that it's using google API where style can be adjusted. That's why the maps are slightly different than the regular maps.google.com.

Adding the Measure tool to the flightradar24.com map would be very handy to have
