Another plane, Air Algerie flight AH5017, has been reported missing.
An Air Algerie flight has crashed en route from Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso to Algiers with 110 passengers on board, almost half of them French citizens, officials say. An Algerian official told Reuters the plane had crashed en route to Algiers, but declined to give details of where the plane was or what caused the accident. Burkina Faso's transport minister Jean Bertin Ouedrago said the aircraft asked to change route at 1:38am GMT(11:38am AEST) on Thursday because of a storm in the area. An Air Algerie representative in Burkina Faso, Kara Terki, told a news conference that all the passengers on the plane were in transit, either for Europe, the Middle East or Canada.

Swiss Le Temps reports that there seems to be no survivors. Weather being seen as the most probable reason for the crash. Airplane wreck and debries seem to be concentrated in one area. French Amry already on the ground to check and secure the area. About 100 French soldiers, in 30 vehicles have arrived on the ground. Wreckage was found by a Reaper drone.

Le Temps is also stating that some experts believe there could have been a bomb on-board. Investigation will reveal more.
