Last months we have been rewriting most of both the web and app code to be make it faster and more structured to be able to add more features in the future.
More and more of the work is finished so there will be a lot of updates and new features during the summer (I think you call it winter in Australia).
Web
A first bigger updated is planned in about 2-3 weeks that will include many bigger changes in the back end code but not so much visible for the user. Data consumption will be reduced by 20-90% for most users. Some changes to menus, premium, filters and settings + improvements to playback and data-pages is what most users will notice. Apart from the minor changes in design/menus and settings/filters and bug fixes most new features from now and on will only be added for premium users.
Next update is planned in about 4-7 weeks that will include some changes in design of arrival/departure boards, a new feature for all users and several unique and nice new features for premium users.
iOS
An update of the Flightradar24 Pro is planned in about 2-4 weeks and will include reduced data consumption (20-95%), improved search and filters + many many bug fixes.
An update of the Flightradar24 Free is planned in about 3-5 weeks and this will be a completely new app.
We will also release a completely new iOS app in about 3-5 weeks time that is not available on the market today.
