  • This night my feed just "died" and won't connect.
I'm running dump1090 on a separate device (router running openwrt). dump1090:8080 map is populated.

status gives me the answer that everything should be OK, but it is not.

I'm offline on my account page, and the feeder is not pushing anything out.

    • Can you please include a bit of the log file please (/var/log/fr24feed.log) ?

      • Pretty hard to determine the time, since there's no timestamp.

        • Thanks.. I'll start by suggesting that you upgrade to the latest version (1.0.6-1) and start it as your build is outdated. It also includes timestamps so it will be easier to track it next time.

          • Well, my bad. I took the install commands from the manual, and now that you're saying... I can see my mistake.

            Upgraded, still no joy.

            • You're connected to the wrong data feed.. it requires the RAW data feed (port 30002 for dump1090) and *NOT* decoded data as from 30003. What receiver is it?

Thanks, I will make sure to make it clear in the manual that users should always get the latest build!

              Comment

              • Well, in this case I can't connect to the raw feed of dump1090. IP: port is correct, I can see the "RAW flow" in my console, but the feeder won't connect to it.

I'm using a DVB-T stick connected the router (openwrt).

                • Can you try to telnet from your RPi to that host port and see if it works? What's the config that you used when you tried?

                  Comment

                  • I think I solved it. I had a wrong net-ro-port parameter in the dump1090 start file.
The receiver is connected as avr-tcp.

I wish there was a "thank you" button installed in VB.
                    Thanks!

any chances for a openwrt build?

                    Comment

                    • I'm glad I could help!

We will get to custom builds when we get the most popular systems covered.. planning Windows release today as well as generic i386/x64 Linux.

                        • Updated, and feeding.
The tracked aircraft list is a nice addition.

Nice! In case of many ACs, it would be better to render a table.
