Flights Disappear When Moving Map

If I am tracking a flight, and I expand the map to the whole flight and then try and move the map and zoom in on the departure area or any other area of the line, the flight and its line always disappears. Then I have to go search for it again and it'll pop up again. This is very frustrating. Why does it do this, and what can I do?

The map is only loading data for the aircraft in the view area. If you move map, the aircraft move out of view area and data is not loaded any more, so aircraft is removed.

One example is a plane landing at SYD from LAX. If I zoom out with the tracking line displayed, and move the map over to LAX, I can see where the track line starts at the runway but even though there's a track line it would still remove the aircraft?
