  • Sexy Thai budget carrier Nok Air slips off runway... again!

This is that airline that put out a sexy girl calendar that everyone was after. They were also featured in Maxim magazine. I wonder if they have a copy of the calender in the cockpit ? Was "Pilot distraction" the cause of the accident?.

A plane operated by Thai budget carrier Nok Air slipped off the runway while landing in a northeastern province Sunday, the airline said, the latest of several accidents at the kingdom's airports.

The small aircraft, which was carrying 25 passengers and three crew, suffered engine trouble as it taxied to the gate after landing in the city of Udon Thani.

"The captain was able to stop the plane safely," Nok Air said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page, adding all onboard were "safe".

The 34-seater SAAB 340B turboprop plane, which had flown from the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, will be towed from grass near the taxi area but is not disrupting other flights, the airline said.

In August another Nok Air plane became wedged in mud after skidding off the runway during take-off at Trang airport in southern Thailand, briefly forcing the closure of the airport. No one was hurt in the incident.
