Hope so, in the meantime I've got my Virtual Radar running normally as well from the RPi feed, dump1090 is after all a bit limited for browsing.

I'm sure we are not the only two with the same problem

    • Probably not. I think most guys will realize when the 7 days premium period has expired :-)

      • Interesting. Just started the Windows feeding software and I´m back online with my Premium account. So it seems that FR24 has Problems accessing the Linux Feeds.

        • After restarting all my equipment, I am also seeing the following on the Linux Box, which makes me to believe FR24 might be having some form of issue or problem:
          [n]FAKM1@europe.fr24.com:8099/TCP
          [n]connecting
          [n]waiting 26 seconds
          [n]FAKM1@arn.fr24.com:8099/TCP
          [n]connecting
          [n]waiting 30 seconds
          [n]FAKM1@europe.fr24.com:8099/TCP
          [n]connecting
          [n]waiting 36 seconds
          [n]FAKM1@europe.fr24.com:8099/TCP
          [n]connecting
          [n]waiting 42 seconds

          • I already opened a support ticket and referred to this thread so Mike can catch up all the issues.

              • we put the output from the FR24feed to /tmp/fr24feed.log (or a similarly named file) -have a look at the file and see if you are feeding. If it says you are - then you need to contact support@flightradar24.com

                • same here.. just keeps trying to connect.. it seems to try several servers and they all fail. I can ping the host, but it doesn't seem to connect on that port so definitely not an isolated issue..

Unfortunately there's not timestamp in the log.

I have planes on my screen, locally, but not feeding.

                    • Same problem for me. The fr24 feeder is not able to connect to the servers since yesterday. I've switched over temporarily to a windows feed but that's not going to last since I'll need to pull out my laptop soon enough.

Collect logs - send to support. Let them know the windows feeder works.

                        • There was a new server introduced yesterday and because for some reason the DNS resolve function doesn't work on RPI it kept failing. I've now updated it to use IP addresses rather than the hostnames. Please restart the feeder to receive updated IP addresses.

The next version will feature an alternative DNS resolving using system commands.

Sorry for the trouble and thanks for reporting!

                              Hi,

                              The next version of what?
                              - server end or Pi feeder software?

                              • Seems I am still having an issue here, even after restarting the box. Mailed Support with some more info.
FR info seems a bit off today - in South Africa I have planes overshooting airports, totally missing destinations.
