  • Net2 Radar

Have been using this site only recently. I see that net2 is the one we receive most of the time. With the coverage it is giving. Is it one system or are their others feeding it.

I am based in Cork Ireland and look at this radar and see what aircraft I can follow my radios.

Not in a position yet to get a radar box.. This is the next best thing.

Yes, it has puzzled me too. NET2 cover from Spain to Norway. It can’t possible be one radar receiver. Maybe someone will know?

NET2 is a network of users connected together and sharing their data with Flightradar24.com, thats why NET2 can cover Norway and Spain

I believe that all flight information on Flightradar24.com is based on networked information. What are the difference between NET2 and say EKAH or EKGH?

EKAH is one radar that connect to flightradar24.com
NET2 is a an own network of users, that connect to flightradar24.com together.
NET2 is a network of SBS-1 users, because Basestation is used as software. So it's not possible to connect with airnav.

What do you mean by Radar, an ADS-B receiver? or a real Radar?

He mean that EKAH is one ADS-B receiver, but we call it "radar". But is not a real radar only a receiver to tranform the ADS-B signal to the map. Simply speaking.

EINN is the ICAO code for Shannon Airport

So presumably EINN is their radar.
