  • Remote SBS-1 Controller

There's a new post on Radarspotters about a potential remote SBS-1 Controller which may be of interest to those wanting to feed FR24 (and other servers) from unmanned locations without needing a PC.

        Hi,
sounds interesting, but € 200,- is the price for a netbook. so I will stay with my solution (restart every xx h). For others it might be helpful.

A netbook cannot be beaten if Windows, Basestation and the virus scanner can be trusted. We try to make our device as cheap as possible but to match a netbook will remain a challenge.

This thing could be very interesting for FR24 if it's stable. We are running small Asus EEE box with Windows today on our remote locations and there is always a risk of having windows or hard drive crash. So if this could replace our EEE boxes, i can order 10 pcs.

Is there a web page with more info about this product?

I will post more details here when I am back from travel next weekend. It is in an early stage still but a prototype is running well on a pinboard.
If there are further ideas for functionality please let me know.

Hi admin, can you please send me your upload protocol/format by pm? Then I can take care of FR24 in the spec.
I had asked for it by mail but not got a reply. I do upload to piopawlu as NET1, but am not sure this is the same format.
                Thanks.
