    Hello Flightfans,

Im new on this block, flight fan for many years.

    I have a Q

Is there a website to quick lookup wich country de first reg.nummer refers to?
For instance PH for The Netherlands en N for US. ect.
    Would be very handy.
For sometimes I come across weird regs.
    Thanks,

    Aerodrex

A lot of the links are dead, but you have the hex you can hunt around google for "ICAO Hex alloction" and you find the country that uses them as a starting poiny. Its also within the text file contained within planeplotter called bsflags.txt. But you need to know your binary.

The alternate for registration lookups is airframes.org among others.

/edit or that link.. I knew there was some on the wiki somewhere
