These are military flights - very few milops are using the civilian ADS-B for obvious security reasons

    Aloha,

I have picked up at least one E-6B North of Oahu transmitting with the GO TO FMS callsign as well as position, altitude, and heading. Call sign might have bee GOTO FMS, but I am sure the FMS was there.

You can see the full callsigns on the Live-Mode-S site for those E-6B and other sites.

FR24 used to show the full callsign. Now the full callsign link is broken now
    http://www.flightradar24.com/GOTO%20FMS vs. http://www.flightradar24.com/GOTO

I hope FR24 will show the full callsign for all the aircraft on the website. It shouldn't shorten the callsign for any aircraft.

You can see it in the older FR24 screenshots on the RR forum thread.

Since the E-6B is primarily a submarine comms. platform, it will be mainly operating in an oceanic environment and will have to rely upon gps-based flight management systems for its navigation, where no ground stations or references exist, hence the ADS-B feed together with its Mode-S data, unlike many military aircraft.

Got this alert today and FR24 still now showing the full Callsign/FlightID on FR24.
It's still showing only "GOTO" for some unknown reason on FR24.

    Alert Time: 2013/03/06
Received Flight Number: GOTO FMS (AE041A)
    Flight ID: GOTO FMS
    Registration: 164408
    Aircraft: E6

Any time frame when FlightRadar24 will show the Full ID Callsigns for the aircrafts on the website/smartphones apps.

    ---------------------------

GOTO is not a transponder error. The issue is with the flight tracking sites not showing the full ID. My Radarbox shows GOTOFMS.

The 164387 up flying today. Showing GOTO part only of the callsign. Check it live on the FR24 map now.
It's missing the FMS part of the callsign.

    It's somewhat fixed now.
Only took about 5 months to fix it.
I guess no one was going to let us know on this thread it was updated last week.

Now showing " GOTOFMS " without the space between GOTO FMS.

Goto fms flights over the US are not showing up? other Live sites show them? they stopped sept 17. maybe they can fix this.
    ------------------------

    Case Closed.

Please lock this thread now. Since these E-6 aircraft are blocked from the map now.
