No problem, thanks for all the tips. I have been listening to the audio(Airport Ops) on 131.550 and a little ACARS activity noted there but no uplinks.

Getting late so will have a play with agc/bandwidth etc tomorrow.

    Cheers for now.

Managed to getfollowing 3 SQ uplink messages on 131.725 - out of approx 18000 - so not easy from this location. I see one is CDG Paris, about 160 miles from here but don't know where 00XS is. I guess there maybe a list of SQ IDs somewhere? Nearest to me is Gatwick (00XS?) about 40 miles.
Interesting, maybe when there are VHF "lifts" it will be possible get further

            Hi forum,

Have been getting used to monitoring VDL2 on 136.975. There sure is lots of messages per minute compared with regular ACARS
I am trying to see some ground stations - can anyone say whether they use a similar format as on ACARS?

I have received this kind of message that I think is squitter. There is a mistake on coordinates because this is not Sao Paulo!

I guess this the information relating to the ground station "Source address (hexa): 219D18 (Ground Station, delegated address , command frame)" so very different from the regular ground station Squitter as this one from London Stansted on 131.975 MHz logged here. By the way I use a Multipsk decoder for both ACARS and VDL2
