  • Boeing E-6B mercury

    The other night I saw U.S navy Boeing E-6B mercury circling around Scotland at 21,745 feet.

    Does anyone know what it was doing?

    I wonder if that was the same one., that I was surprized to see on my radar.

    with a callsign of "GOTFMS" owners US Navy.

    Maybe doing some Dambuster practice..!??????????

      Ive heard that there is a radar going out to NZ next week
      (so a little bitdie told me.,)

        the e-6b is up on radar right now routing north towards the isle of man FL240 looks like it came out of mildenhall

            when looking over at boeing field seattle i have spotted this aircraft with same callsign several times. i'm not sure it is transmitting correct info but is definately US Navy
