Flightradar24 iPhone App - Alternative Maps

With the FlightRadar24 iPhone App there are 3 map options available (via Settings/FlightRadar24): Standard (road maps), Satellite and Hybrid. While useful for locating yourself the standard road maps can be overcomplicated and very cluttered. The Satellite is also cluttered and requires a large download. Would it not be possible to offer the Google Terrain map as used for the web-based version of FlightRadar24?

The terrain map doesn't seem to be available in Google Maps iPhone apps.
