    Hello Marek,

I have not been on this Forum very long but i really enjoyed your films and your choice of music to go with them is great,

    Keep them coming,

    Cheers,

    Roger.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

In the example above it is borrowed Panasonic AF101 with the Sky-Watcher MAK127 (telescope). In the following movies I used Panasonic Lumix GH2. You focus manually (or by a serwo) using a telescope focus knob, so it is never autofocused.

MAK127 has a focal length of 1500mm, MAK150 - 1800mm. With a crop factor of about 2 (micro 4/3 of AF101 and GH2) this gives a focal length from about 3000mm to 3600mm. GH2 has a special mode of ETC (Extra Tele Conversion) - it is like a built-in 2.6X teleconverter so you can get even 9360mm focal length!
But believe me - it is not easy to smoothly shoot a flying object with such a focal length . Clear and stable air is also essential to get good results. I am still learning to get longer and better shots...

    Cheers, Marek
