  • Flightradar24 tracking program for Windows

    Greetings.

I'm trying the new Flightradar24 v1.0 tracking program for Windows and it is working fine.

The only problem I detect is that it doesn't update the Tracking Radar that is following the plains and keeps the first one that started tracking it. With the online browser version, it keeps updating the last radar that reported the plain. Also, it would be better if it would have a Google Maps option... the NASA Blue Marble and Atlas maps are so bad in Portugal...

For all other options, that's a great work. Congratulations to the flightradar24 team.

    Best regards.

It's actually rather old more than new, And is no longer being developed as such. So don't expect any additional changes.

It is an as-is where-is app for now as they work on the IOS and Android versions.
Posts not to be taken as official support representation - Just a helpful uploader who tinkers

Greetings, Oblivian and thanks for your kind answer.

Yes, you have reason. I didn't see the date of the flightradar24.exe file... Tomorrow's first birthday... but Ok.

I'm using also Android and MAC pro versions. But @ home, I do prefer the Windows version.

      Best regards.

I'm sorry, but as mentioned on http://www.flightradar24.com/premium/
Flightradar24 Windows application is distributed as is without support or upgrades.
We neither have the source code or contact with the developer (he has moved out into the deep Swedish woods) so there will be no updates or bug fixes.

Regarding Google Maps API, it's only available on Web, Android Apps and iOS apps up to iOS version 5. There is no legal possibility to use Google Maps in Windows Apps, Mac apps or iOS6.
