  • which plane is which on a scanner ???

    hi i always use flightradar24 when i got my scanner on even in the car on my iphone as my scanner can pick up liverpool, manchester blackpool etc etc, how do i know witch plane is speeking on the scanner.

    Hi Smudger.

    When you select an Aircraft you see the callsign above the Aircraft, that is what they normally use.

    Some sample Callsigns: EIN356 / VIR1 / EXS897 / TAP324

      ahhh so say its british airways it will be lets say baw 125 but i know aer lingus say shamrock

        It gives all the verbal callsign's the Crew use.

        BAW British Airways callsign: SPEEDBIRD
