Along with the flight details - what about 'tagging' the photos with details of the equipment used to catch the shots?

foxtango, I use a 4.5" telescope and a Sony WX50 compact camera for my pictures, with afocal method. I use 45x magnification on the telescope and 2,2x to 2,6x of zoom on the camera. I don't know how to calculate the focal length using this method. I believe almost everyone in this thread uses DSLR cameras with big lenses or telescopes, which definitelly it's a easier way and gives much better results.
