  • How to show RNAV waypoints ?

    Hello,

I am a newbie, and I am located in EDDM / MUC.
Is there a plugin available to edit and show RNAV waypoints within flightradar24.com ?
A waypoint example is shown in http://www.fallingrain.com/world/AU/waypoints.html

    Regards,
    Josef

Think it has been a suggestion but not as yet implimented/hinted on of possible. I imagine it is a lot of work however.

It would require an overlay large KML with the co-ords I suspect. It is possible to convert them into a format that planeplotter is able to show but this is usually run by uploaders only. If you just want to show where they are, and not live planes flying over them you can make it into a KML to work in google earth/google maps online easy enough

This is not a matter of implementation but a question of getting the global data with all waypoints.

Have been discussed many time in this thread: http://forum.flightradar24.com/threa...ghtradar24.com

        Ah Righto.

Is it of any assistance if smaller locations like us here in NZ were able to supply them as a starting point.. kind of like how uploaders are able to identify new contact details? Or is it perferable to scrape a global database since like I found here they can change often for this to be viable

Mike has accumlated the NZ ones already here in NZ and has colated a downloadable GPX http://nzradar.com/images/nzwaypoints.gpx I've modified my own copy slightly to work with planeplotter to see the tasman flightroutes, and added a few new ones as the authority released them.
