It was in East Midlands yesterday. It was also in there last week as well. Still unsure as to why it's coming in so frequently. Any idea where the origin on the flight is?

        Regards Matt

          Hi Matt,

Backtracking I found the departure airport to be Boston, USA.
At 330 knots that must be a wearing 10hour crossing.
Perhaps a jaunt by a Royal Prince??

          Rgds

Thanks for the info Mike. Just popped into East Mids and it's gone now unfortunately. I wanted to get a departure shot with the camera. Oh well hopefully it'll be back soon.

            Regards
            Matt

Have just stumbled across the fact that the Royal Saudi Air force ordered 84 F-15'S aswell as also purchasing upgrades for their older F-15'S in December 2011. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

              Regards

                Interesting holding pattern.

Airbus A330-200 Reg zz-330 doing some interesting holding pattern above Isle of Man. Does anyone know what that is about? It is an Air force air tanker.

                    Hi, Welcome to the Forum.

Its more than likely a training exercise, the RAF have only just had this type of aircraft delivered.
(I have just checked playback and it came up from Madrid which is where they build them.)

                          Hi.

The A330 is possibly heading to RAF Lyneham as its descended to 6000ft near Swindon.

I see the little cessna near me at Runcorn sometimes.

Yes Mike, I lost the track and it's disappeared now. Must have landed. Unsual stuff I have seen so far here was Airbus 'Beluga' flying pretty low in Northwest region. Must be heading to Airbus plant down in Wales. Brilliant aircraft.
