Are you sure it's "G-TLEL" that crashed ?
The news report says it was a "Zeppelin" not a "Blimp".

It looks like it was a Blimp:
"Pilot Mike Nerandzic was killed today in the tragic accident in Germany which destroyed the Goodyear Blimp Spirit of Safety I G-TLEL."
Quote by Bunky Wertman a well respected Blimp Fan.

Thanks for the update... crazy stuff floating around on the news!
Must have changed the blimp out for "G-TLEL" blimp.

Lot of Google searches coming back for "Spirit of Safety I" as "G-HLEL"...
Google search for "Spirit Of Safety II" as "G-TLEL".

    Hi Brian.

It was GOODYEAR Safety 2 that crashed, so as you say most of whats on the net seems to be wrong.

These are the correct details for them
    G-HLEL / Hex: 4064E8 / Type: A60+10 American Blimp Corp / TLG GOODYEAR Safety 1

    G-TLEL / Hex: 40424C / Type: A60+03 American Blimp Corp / TLG GOODYEAR Safety 2
