    Icelandair

I am new to forum, but have always had an interest in planes and air traffic control. Anyway i have noticed Icelandair have some unusual flight patterns. There 757 call sign ICE776 reg. TF-FIH will drop down to about 5000 feet in altitude over Lincolnshire then climb again, it also cruises at 23'000 feet which is unusual. I was wondering if they are testing for volcanic ash.I lost track of it at 4600 feet near Brussels. All for now.

Hi everyone. Mystery solved, I did a bit of research and found out ICELANDAIR TF-FIH was converted to a cargo plane in 2006. En-route Brussels it called into Hull, which explains the change in altitude. There's some great photo's on http://www.jetphotos.net/showphotos....gsearch=TF-FIH if anyone's interested. All for now.
