I am making this post as a suggestion from the flightradar24 support staff and after my email communication with them and it is about how is displayed the "Hellenic Air Force" name at various flights.

I have observed that the "Hellenic Air Force" is mostly named as "Greek Air Force" which is wrong.

The term "Greek Air Force is/was never used by the Hellenic Air Force and wherever is used is wrong.

The official name of the Hellenic Air Force is "Hellenic Air Force" with the 3 letter callsign as "HAF", here is the official HAF website, I am not allowed to post links at my 1st post, so here it is "haf.gr/en/".

In Greek language the name is ""Ελληνική" Πολεμική Αεροπορία - ΠΑ"", the term "Ελληνική/Hellenic" is not often used at Greece and at Latin is "Polemikí Aeroporía".

    Best regards from Greece
All military planes from Greece should be now correct in the database

Hi! The data base currently shows the following:

    0D0A50
    XA-EMA
    H25A
    Hawker Siddeley HS-125-1A/731
    25282

    Private owner

Please note H25A MSN 25282 has now been re-registered as N223RR. The "new" XA-EMA is:

    0D0A50
    XA-EMA
    LJ75
    Learjet 75
    45-545
    Private owner

Could you please revise the info? Thanks in advance!

    Dear FR24,

I'm writing you from Italy, our aircraft recently installed an ADS-B transponder but we are unable to see our aircraft on FR24.
    The aircraft is a C152, callsign I-AMCR, Hex. 3006C6.
Could be possibile that our callsign is similar in part (IAM) to the Italian Air Force identification?

We impatiently await your responses or solution.

    Best Regards

There appears to be a "black hole" in FR24 low level coverage where you fly, doesn't appear to be much received below FL060.

I checked another site and you are being picked up, there was a flight in the morning and evening on Monday 17th so no errors or problems with the callsign. Unless you are putting "IAM" and not "I-AM" in the callsign box on the transponder. If you are putting "IAM" then FR24 will probably block it thinking its an AMI flight...

C152 I-AMCH does appear on FR24 (With an incorrect transponder code) and DA42 I-AMRL so the IAM part may not make any difference...but hopefully someone from FR24 will clarify

I will put the details of the aircraft in the new aircraft thread so when it does appear it will be in the database.

Hex Codes 30024C and 300337 both have registration I-DPCH allocated

30024C is I-DPCH using callsign CAN25 and its MSN 2062
300337 is I-DPCC using callsign CAN27 and its MSN 2066

The DB has I-DPCC as 30024B which is also incorrect

30024B is I-DPCG using callsign CAN24 and its MSN 2060

Can we standardise the aircraft to Canadair CL-415 for all the I-DPC* aircraft seem to be several different version in use in the DB for these Italian aircraft
