    My Dear Scanhorse

Viking Airways ...hmmm...sadly I only go back as far as Sterling Caravelles, Fred Olsen DC-6's and SAS Metropolitans...oh and the odd trip CPH-LHR on Aeroflot TU-104A's !

I was reluctant to write too much about Haj flights and the ghastly events that can occur on them but then you have to rememebr that for many of the passenegers it is the first and last time that they will ever fly, Haj being, for most, a once in a lifetime experience.

Your right it would be a great way for EK to use up the last strengths of their older birds in the same way that Thai will get the last juice out of their 747's !

But I care not as it is always a great time here in DXB for varied stuff flying over on their way too or from Makkah !

Anyone else you know signed up for the Haj Brigade??? or just Thai ?

    mvh
