    ShipTrax Hardware Update

Unfortunately the production of the hardware units for ShipTrax have been delayed due to part shortages and a revised time for the launch of ShipTrax is now the end of June.

We apologise profusely for the delay and the inconvenience caused and we thank you for your patience so far.

We will provide a further update towards the start of June with more details and prices. We are hoping we can increase the production output once the parts have been shipped in and have an earlier launch date.

For those who are interested in our separate products (RadarBox etc..), they will not be delayed by the Shiptrax Hardware delay and work is continuing well on them. Keep posted to the forum and newsletter for more news

AirNav Systems - We should releasing more information in Mid June. We hope to have it launched at the end of June. The delay was due to shortage of components.

Great ShipTrax delayed two more weeks.... RadarBox software bugs will stay alive little longer

    Andre Brandao
That's affirm we are still delayed with it this time because of software fine tuning. It shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to have the software totally finished. Cost will be similar to RadarBox. and will be announced on airnavsystems website.

AirNav quote from December 2008, suggesting release date of February 2009

    December 2008
ShipTrax Software is 99% finished. We are still waiting for the hardware to pass final tests to release the package. Unfortunately we are having some delays making it almost impossible to release before February.

No AirNav ShipTrax released on the market = no bug fixes for AirNav RadarBox software product !

"Its all about what AirNav Systems have promised for years now. That they will deal with its Bug fixes once shiptrax is released!!!"

AirNav recently announced that ShipTrax will be released before Christmas 2011. Still a few weeks left.

Then again, it was reported that the new Kinetic SBS-3 would be available in September 2011 but no sign of it (yet).

Pressed by one of its customers, AirNav has posted an update regarding the outstanding RadarBox bugs and other issues.

But I should include a Health Warning. AirNav has been posting similar "updates" for over three years and still no sign of ShipTrax. Less than a month to Christmas.

Yes we can share some good news. ShipTrax hardware had a last minute problem and we had to wait for a small change to be implemented and then test it. All is back on track now. Once it is out our team will focus solely on RadarBox
    .

And it looks like the regular AirNav supporters are now beginning to question the validity of these updates.
