  • Does this look in order?

After ordering the wrong LNA I finally got the proper ADS-B one. Here is the data, approximately six hours after installing it. The improvement in performance is remarkable.

How does this look to you pros? Would you make any changes based on this? Antenna is still not externally mounted but that will be solved in the next two weeks.

You need to reduce the gain.

    Try a gain of 28

The percentage mentioned in the first graphs should be 1 to 10 percent, not 55 like yours.

I will do that and give it 24 hours to see what difference it's made.

It has been a week now and with gain set at 28, messages >-3dBFS are still around the 20% mark. Is there something else I can do? I am still quite pleased with the overall performance but if it's not right I would like to solve it properly.

You can reduce gain further but you don't have to.
It's a compromise between range and receiving aircraft very close to your antenna.
(if the signal is too strong you can't receive it)

Go ahead and experiment and check what the message rate does

The RTL-SDR ADS-B one. It works great.
