  • ffeder outage ??eh ?

got now for the 2nd time the email saying
    Hello,

Our monitoring shows that your feed T-EDKA30 has been offline since 2019-06-26 06:26:36 UTC. If you are having problems with your receiver setup, please feel free to contact support@fr24.com for advice and assistance.

but if i check, the scripts are running as it should be.
however, the fr24feed.log did end with this after i rebooted the system

    2019-06-26 08:26:45 | [feed][x]Feeding thread terminated

so, eh, is there simply way to check if i am streaming the data to here ?

    thnxs.

If you did a known reboot. It probably rectified itself in the time you got the advisement. Or didn't restart on reboot

Please show the output of the following:

        Code:
        fr24feed --version
        cat /etc/os-release | grep -i code
Maybe just the logging isn't working anymore.

        Check https://www.flightradar24.com/account/data-sharing

For the appropriate feeder check the statistics.
The daily availability should show you if everything is working.

            That's quite the old version.
You might want to install the current version.
            Code:
            sudo bash -c "$(wget -O - https://repo-feed.flightradar24.com/install_fr24_rpi.sh)"

                Should be a pi: Linux/static_arm

Just linked the install script because i didn't know if the repository would be configured for the older version.

It has the downside of re-enabling the auto update service if disabled already I believe

Wouldn't hurt to go with a fresh pi24 image. Seems wheezy isn't supported anymore.

Or go with Raspbian Stretch Lite (https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/ra...retch-lite.zip)
Then install fr24 with the script.

dump1090-mutability doesn't work on Buster, so you can't use the brand new Raspbian unless you use dump1090-fa with fr24feed.

That's actually what i would do, use Buster and dump1090-fa.

                          Really?
Ok, tonight I will write Raspbian Buster to microSD card, install dump1090-mutability ver 1.15~dev, and see what happens.

I'm not really sure, but there was some dpkg error when someone tried to use the fr24feed install script.
That was on buster so i'm just assuming at this point.

                            Haven't actually tested it.

actualy, it is time for replaceing the p1 for a pi2.
oh, and about my isue,, i get every day now a message that the feeder is offline, but when i check the logfiles, it is simply streaming to FR...
                              weard.
the only thing i do is a daylee reboot at midnight, but never got a outage message for it.
but log files start writing again around 7am eachtime, hmm,,
