Hehe, have you read what we have told you in this thread ? If you have a Pi, and feed FR24, then you have the equipment. But, most probably (I can not tell as long as you don't tell me what kind of equipment he has in his aircraft) G-BEZC does NOT transmit the position in the transponder signal, therefore it is not possible to determine this aircrafts position from one received transponder signal. The aircraft needs to be within range of AT LEAST, 4 receivers, then the position can be ESTIMATED.

If you need to see this aircraft at low level, then the transponder / avionics need to be upgraded, I guess.

Yes I have a Pi and feed in to FR
          The aircraft has ;-
          Garmin430w and Garmin GTX328 Mode S transponder
          As I’m T-EGPE30
I would assume there are 30 receivers in the area ??
Is there any way of seeing the position of these and if they’re operating?

What software are you running on the RPi? That decodes the messages received by the radio?

                    If it's too much gobble.

The simple answer despite linking the how it works FAQ..

Forget about ever seeing positions on a global map every flight.

To increase chance of map display.

                    A. Fly higher.
                    B. Add a GPS in the plane.

                    End.

Aircraft has a gps in the Garmin 430w
Because of the poor flight radar coverage low level in the Highlands of Scotland where most flights are between 1000’ and 3000’
In the interest of safety I’m trying to increase the coverage so if an aircraft is lost it can be located quickly.
A number of years ago A fellow pilot crashed in December and the wreckage wasn’t found until April after the snow had melted!!
Ive placed a receiver at my home which has a phenomenal view from the aerial, and another at a friends,,and if the coverage improved I’d strategically place a couple more!!

It does NOT matter if there are GPS in the aircraft. It needs to be connected to the transponder. The transponder is transmitting the signal to your receiver. What type of transponder is installed ?

Garmin GTX 328 does not have ADS-B capability (and certainly not transmitting position)

Trig TT 31 can be connected to GPS, and transmit the aircrafts position.
