  • Is this the right settings for DVBT

    Are the gain values meant to be like that? Have not picked up any aircraft despite multiple going overhead.

    Code:
    Found 1 device(s):
    0: Realtek, RTL2838UHIDIR, SN: 00000001

    Using device 0: Generic RTL2832U OEM
    Found Fitipower FC0012 tuner
    Supported gain values (5): -9.9 -4.0 7.1 17.9 19.2
    Sampling at 2048000 S/s.
    No E4000 tuner found, aborting.

    Afraid It's a fitpower chip. That can't pick up the right frequency..

    Check my sticky adsb requirements thread

      That's not good Waited a month for this to arrive. Do you know any other uses for this, instead of letting it go waste? I am assuming some software can't somehow make it usable with FR24?

        Nope. Its a hardware limitation.

        Radio, maybe some tv.

        Using sdr# or similar. Airband and that.

        If it was advertised as a sdr capable with 820t. Request a refund. As that would be false since it's a fc0012

        Fitpower FC0012 22 – 948.6 MHz

          You could download suitable SDR radio software to receive broadcast, public service and amateur radio etc. across a range of frequencies. You could also use it for TV reception, but it won't cover the ADS-B frequencies. For radio I use a program called SDR Sharp, sometimes listed as SDR#.
