  • Feed goes offline every day for 10 minutes

I have a raspberry Pi with the Pi24 image software. Every day just before 6am it stops sending data, then just after 6am it comes back online. Does anybody have any ideas why?

Anything useful in the log file? It's normally /var/log/fr24feed.log

Nothing. It thinks its sending data up throughout.

Personally I think I'd wait until it's confirmed that the stats on the site are 100%. AFAICT the site stats have been stuck for three days, though support are saying differently The log file looks fine as you say.

Not happening to me in my RPi. Have you checked wether you have internet at home by that very time?

Yes, I'd agree with you there; the stats are questionable.

Its not a big issue - the world will not end. Just curiosity on my part.

Yes I have. Router overview shows connected for 20+ days. Router logs show IPsec (IKE) activity at the 'blackout' times. I guess this is further backed up by the Pi logs showing successful pings and data being sent. So I conclude we definitely have interweb.

Same thing happens to me except that it's 11:53 or :54 to 12:10 UTC (around 7am localtime). This happens four or five days out of seven.

Logs show uploads still happening and the UPTIME (AS % OF AVAILABLE TIME) stat is at 100%

                  Possibly auto update checks.

Make sure on latest..a see if following this stops it.

I get several instances of fr24feed_updater.sh running after a while. How can it be completely disabled? It can't update anything anyways since the file-system is read-only. /M

But remember to will need to manually update
