  • Password protect 8754 page

    Hi all,

I would like to password protect the 8754 page of my Raspberry Pi, so that others on the same network will not be able to change any of the settings. I do not have the option to assign static IP addresses to my PC (network handled by external party) - thus IP tables will not do the trick.

Is there a way to password protect the page?

    Many thanks for your inputs.

    Regards

Make the config file read only and manually edit from console?

      Hi Oblivian,

Thanks for your reply. That would indeed solve the settings page issue, but this would still allow people to 'terminate software' or 'restart software' with the links provided on the 8754 page. I would like to be able to do those actions (e.g. leave the links intact), but not allow others to do so.

      Thanks again.

It's fully embedded so hard to bypass. Only other thing I can think of is null route.
Or open the port with something else first and it will be able to start
