  • FR24feed Failures

I developed a problem that is now prevalent on two Pi's.

My fr24feed service fails at start up and fails when a manual restart is attempted.

Under status, I am receiving numerous messages. The most notable are:

fr24feed.service: Service hold-off time over, scheduling
fr24feed.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
    fr24feed.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit'

At what point did these duplicate failures occured....... I don't know, but I would have to assume a system update/upgrade would be most plausible.

My dump1090 functions are operational. My Plane Finder feed does not have issues.

As a note, both these Pi's have screens. Both have Navit installed.
I don't know if this plays a part in my problem.

A Dell micro with Raspbian has had no issues with any updates.

I'm going to sit on this and watch it unfold. The same failures noted above occurred on a band new OS install on a unmodified Pi3.

Problem was all of my doing. "Cntl C" used during install with the thinking I could update the feed type and radar information afterwords.

Non-issue except for another line on my chalkboard of stupidity.
