  • Asking for signals seen in flight radar

Dear friends, I am a newly registered member in this website, though I am following it for past a year. My questions are:
    1. Sometimes, I have seen some flight color over Atlantic & Pacific are shown as deep yellow, whereas most of the other flights are shown in light yellow. What is the difference?
    2. For some long flights, the already traveled path shown in black dotted line, whereas rest with violet/ blue lines. What dies it signify?
    3. Sometimes while seeing the altitude of the flight, it is showing say 37025 ft or 36975 ft, whereas after sometime it will show 37000 ft. Whether that increase/ decrease in altitude results due to turbulance
    Thanks in advance.

Still I have not received any answer from any members. Today, I have also noticed some flight path is marked with red. What that signify?

If you use some of the words you are asking about as search terms, the answers appear.

"Yellow" for instance results in the posts explanation it's difference in altitude https://forum.flightradar24.com/showthread.php?t=10351

Dotted (rather, "dashed" will also yeild results) lines are the normal path of a route. If it's too far from land (a receiver) then it doesn't know where it is currently. So plots likely path.
